I'll admit that while Mr. Day and I do not know each other well yet, I do hope we are afforded the opportunity to become better acquainted over the course of my arrangement with you. Anyone you hold in such high regard is certainly worth building a familiarity with.

Quota was... less of a concern when I was contracted to someone I was already intimately involved with. However, in recent months, my circle has become more limited, but I know that should I ever find myself in a more desperate position, you would not fail to provide assistance. All that said, I will send you a photograph at the earliest so that you might choose something to your liking, even if it is only necessary in public places.

In truth, Miss Amelia Royer did step forward to assist with ownership as a dominant in the wake of Mr. Frost's departure, though we are not contracted, and I don't believe she plans to relinquish her position soon. Quota does present itself as less of a concern these days, at least compared to my initial arrival. With that in mind, however, I would promise not to neglect it, since such a failing would only reflect poorly on you should I happen to face consequences for it.

It is a more brazen disregard of designations, the activities that I often pursue in the club proper, so it naturally would only be able to occur in private — but I feel compelled to extend the offer to you, should you desire to take it. However, if you ever find yourself in a position to observe a particular scene, you would be more than welcome as a spectator.

If it is not too bold of me to say so, I don't hold that impression of you. To be fair, Captain Crozier and Mr. Frost are starkly different men from one another, as well, and my time with them was dictated by developing familiarities and enjoying deeper intimacies, respectively. I see no reason not to expect that our contract will possess its own strengths, regardless of the ways in which it differs from any agreement I have been part of in recent years.

In other words, you have never been a disappointment to me, Thomas, and I do not anticipate that changing any time soon.

If I've learned anything from my Navy service, it's that those best suited for command have got an intimate understanding of what those below them need, even if it's not always what's most comfortable.
