I do recall reading an entry on the network about someone being imprisoned for uncovering the ways in which the devices act as a record of our time here.

It would seem they monitor quite a lot.

Not that I'm aware. Further study for this program of theirs, if I had to venture a guess.

( and how many of them wouldn't really need much encouragement? how many willingly allowed themselves to submit? that had never been her life and she wasn't about to begin now )

But there does tend to be a time and a place for even the best-laid plans to come to fruition.
